Introduction
In business, there’s no ideal time to have drainage problems. When you own and operate a commercial business, it’s essential to get any possible pipe problems addressed as soon as humanly possible. Even a small amount of time without fully functional drainage can result in a significant loss of money. At Advanced Pipe Repair, our experts will address your drainage and pipe system issues as quickly as possible.
Commercial pipes and drains operate differently from residential pipes and drains. In fact, almost every commercial system will vary from other commercial systems. This has to do with the type of building and the use of the building. For example, warehouses can have simpler pipe and drain systems than multi-unit apartment buildings. When you have a plumbing concern, it’s best to contact a skilled professional that understands the unique needs of commercial plumbing. Advanced Pipe Repair is the team you need in your corner. Let’s take a closer look at what causes drain issues that require quick repair.
Most Common Reasons For Drain Issues
Most Common Reasons For Drain Issues
The most common issue that happens with drains is a clog. Pipes become clogged most often due to improper items being introduced into the water system. These items could be food and other forms of household waste. It’s important to understand that improper usage can present quick issues that take a long time or costly repairs to get the drainage systems back into working order.
Other Common Drain-Related Issues
- Cracked pipes
- Frozen pipes
- Corroded pipes
- Tree root-related clogs
- Leaking pipes
No matter what type of drain issue you’re experiencing at your commercial property, the team at APR will arrive quickly to begin the inspection and repair process. We understand how important it is for your business to be in tip-top condition. We undertake a thorough process to ensure that we can handle your situation effectively.

No matter the type of drain repair required, the team at Advanced Pipe Repair will take care to get the job done quickly. We understand how dangerous a drain problem can be when it comes to the health and wellness of your employees and customers alike. Addressing a leak immediately will reduce the risk of further damage, lower overall repair costs, and help to manage other expenses that can occur for related services. For example, drainage problems that are left unchecked for a long time can result in foundation slab problems. Those can be incredibly costly and time-consuming to address.
Before we address your drain repair project, we will undertake a state-of-the-art video inspection of your entire pipe system. Video inspections have become the smart way to approach inspections due to their versatility, reliability, and safety. While our skilled plumbers and inspectors can take a closer at larger pipe openings, many pipes are too small to be inspected manually. Enter video. A major perk of video inspections is that the cameras used can record every single angle within your pipes. The video can be paused and shared as needed–which can be particularly helpful when planning the repair process and for preparing insurance documents if approval is required.
Once the inspection has been completed, our team of experts will sit down with your team to determine how to best address the issues found. At APR, we believe that including the client in the entire process is essential. It makes it clear that we’re in this together. As we review the inspection video and report, our team will make recommendations. This can be anything from a brief explanation to a detailed conversation–we value your understanding and we want to make sure it’s clear what happens next. Whenever possible, we prefer to use trenchless methods to complete drain and pipe repairs.
No-Dig Pipe and Drain Repair

At APR, our team of professionals understands how important it is to get pipe and drain repairs handled quickly, completely, and cleanly. Historically, the last part wasn’t that easy. In the not-so-distant past, the only way to access many pipe and drain systems was to dig. Digging is a time consuming, messy, and expensive process. There is a lot of preparation that goes into locating underground pipes and digging up land to access them. Once the pipes have been located, the repair work can begin. With the repair work complete, the hole must be filled in. A repair that might take a few hours can take a few days with preparation and cleanup. Thankfully, there’s a much better way to repair your pipes.
We can do it better through a new method, CIPP or Cured-in-Place Piping. In CIPP repairs, the existing pipes are left in place. To improve the flow rate, a new liner is inserted into damaged pipes. Using specifically designed resins, the liner and the existing pipe are bonded together. Once the two sections are cured, pipe and drain work can resume. The downside of traditional CIPP repairs involves the amount of time required for pipe repairs to cure – but there’s a solution: UV and LED CIPP. With new ultraviolet (UV) and/or light-emitting diode (LED) curing materials, repaired sewer pipes can be used in a matter of hours.
