CIPP Brings New-Age Solutions
CIPP has been around for many years, but solutions like these are constantly improving. There was a time when providers were afraid of CIPP because of the chemicals that are associated with it. In past years, it has even gotten a bad name from those who don’t truly understand the materials.
The CIPP solutions used today are not the same materials that were used 50 years ago when it all began. Thanks to improvements and technological advances, CIPP is now a better solution than ever, and it keeps getting better as we discover new options and try new uses for the materials.
Cured-in-place pipe repair and installation provides a long-lasting solution that will keep your pipes running for 50+ years.
CIPP and Trenchless Pipe Installation
Cured-in-place pipe is not technically a pipe, but it will essentially create a brand-new pipe layer within your existing pipe. When you have holes, cracks, leaks, and other similar pipeline failures, placing CIPP is just like replacing the pipe in question. Gone are the days when heavy equipment and trenching had to be used for every repair or replacement.
Thanks to CIPP, you can now make most of your repairs and create a new pipe installation. It’s so much easier and there is almost nothing CIPP can’t handle.
CIPP works for the majority of needs. It has very few limitations. CIPP cannot replace a pipe that has collapsed or that is extensively corroded. However, you can count on CIPP for nearly any other pipe repair or installation.
How CIPP Works
If you aren’t familiar with CIPP, this is a simple pipe repair solution. CIPP is put into the pipeline using electronic technology. This is why there is no digging. The electronic technology provides video so the tube is placed and then cured to the area.
We start with a video inspection to ensure we understand the repair needs. Then, we will clean the pipeline and flush it out. The tube for repair is then inserted and adhered to the surface. This liner will need time to cure, which can be sped up with UV technology. Finally, we complete an inspection to ensure repairs are complete and effective.
